“Do you agree or disagree with statement: government today should offer financial support to encourage environmentally friendly practices”.
Sample answer:
Environmentally friendly practices are becoming a widely concerning problem in many parts of the world. Some people argue that the government nowadays should provide financial support to promote these ways to save the world and I agree with this opinion.
One reason why the government should become a regular contributor to encourage environmentally friendly practices is that they can set an example for companies in the private sector. The government can impact many industries. As a result, they can promote environmentally friendly practices in several fields like farming or industry. Besides, the government probably holds the highest funds through taxes and other properties. Therefore, by allocating these financial resources to environment conservation organizations or encouraging campaigns to raise awareness of environmental problems, the government can create huge impacts nationally or internationally.
In addition, if the governments lend a hand in solving the environmental problems, this can create a sustainable change. For example, many environmental groups have received grants from the government to find solutions for many environmental issues, such as air pollution, deforestation, and endangered animals. Because most of these groups are non-profit organizations, they depend heavily on the government to operate and expand their work. Let’s assume a situation in which the government decides to cut down on these contributions, environmental enthusiasts would possibly struggle to focus on their projects. Consequently, not many people will be interested in these environmental issues.
In conclusion, I believe the government, which is the highest fund owner, should use money from taxes to encourage people to follow environmentally friendly practices in their production or daily lives. By doing this, the positive impacts created by the government would be sustainable and widely spread.
