I think the government shouldn’t provide free Internet for everyone for a few reasons.

First, it would be too expensive because the government would need to spend a lot of money to set up and maintain the infrastructure, like cables, machines, and servers. I believe it would be better if the government used this money on other important projects, like building more highways or improving education.

Also, using public wifi can be risky because it’s not safe for our privacy. If everyone shares the same network, hackers could easily steal personal information, hack systems, and scam people. For example, my friend once used public wifi at the airport and got scammed. So, it’s not safe to use public wifi.

For these reasons, I don’t think the government needs to provide free Internet for everyone.
